Edward H. Karte, age 94, of Allentown PA, died Saturday, August 02, 2003 in the Cedarbrook, Fountain Hill Annex, Fountain Hill PA. He was the Husband of Elizabeth A. (Kurtz) Karte. The couple celebrated their 67th Wedding Anniversary this past January.

Born in Bethlehem PA, he was the son of the late Robert and Bertha (Schreiber) Karte. He worked in the Rolling Mill of the Bethlehem Steel Corp., Bethlehem PA, for 37 years, retiring in 1971. He was of the Lutheran faith. He was a Life Member of the Hellertown Sportsmen's Association.

He is survived by his Wife; Sons, David R. Karte of Hellertown PA and Wallace E. Karte of Zionsville PA; 5 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services and Interment will be private and at the convenience of the Family. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Hellertown PA.
