Eugene J. Karba, age 87, of 1090 Second Avenue, Hellertown PA, died Thursday, June 14, 2001 at the Phoebe-Richland Health Care Center, Richlandtown PA. He was the Widower of the late Stephanie (Pfeiffer) Karba who died June 12, 1970.

Born in Bethlehem PA, he was the Son of the late Joseph Karba and Mary (Novak) Karba. He was a Welder at the Bethlehem Steel for 43 years until retiring in 1975. He was a Member of St. John's Windish Lutheran Church, Bethlehem PA.

He is survived by his Daughters, Karyl M., wife of Gerald J. Rodriguez and Jean L. wife of George F. Unguren, with whom he resided; Sister, Grace, wife of Lawrence Steixner of Bethlehem PA; 4 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 Monday, June 18, 2001 at the St. John's Windish Lutheran Church, 617 East Fourth Street, Bethlehem. Friends and Family may Call 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown and 10:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Church. Interment in Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
