Anna D. (Bednarik) Kametz, age 79, of Hellertown PA, died Friday, May 19, 2006 in the home of her Daughter and Son-in-Law, Lisa J. and Gary E. Leidich. She is the wife of the late Bernard J. Kametz, 1971.

Born in Bethlehem PA, she is the daughter of the late Adam and Mary (Stofko) Bednarik. Anna worked as a Sewing Machine Operator for the former Casco Manufacturing, Hellertown PA for many years and at the St. Francis Retreat Center, Bethlehem PA for 4 years. She is a Member of Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, Hellertown.

She is survived by her Sons, Bernard J. and his wife Pamela K. of Whitehall PA and Jeffrey M. and his wife Carol A. of Hellertown PA; Daughters, Sharon A., wife of Gary A. DeSieno of Centreville VA, Donna M., wife of Edward E. Frey of Hellertown PA and Lisa J. wife of Gary E. Leidich of Hellertown PA; Sister, Margaret, wife of John M. Pusch of Bethlehem PA; 13 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. She is predeceased in death by her Brothers, John and Joseph Bednarik.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown, followed by an 11:30 a.m. Mass at the Church. Family and Friends may call 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow services at the Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem PA.
