William R. 'Bill' Parks, age 68, of New Ringgold PA, died Friday, March 21, 2003 in the Pottsville Hospital, Pottsville PA. He was the Husband of Christine C. (Krosecz) Parks. The couple celebrated their 36th Wedding Anniversary last September.

Born in Allentown PA, he was the son of the late Harry B. Sr. and Mabel L. (Steckel) Parks. He was an Electrician with the Local Union 375, I.B.E.W. in Allentown for 40 years before retiring in 1997. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp having served during Peacetime. He was also a Member of the National Rifle Association.

He is survived by his Wife; Daughter, Linda S. Williams of Harrisburg PA; Sons, William S. Parks of Arlington TX and Clint R. Parks of New Ringgold PA; Brothers, Warren L. Parks of Allentown PA, Stanley A. Parks of Emmaus PA, Robert N. Parks of Slatington PA and Donald W. Parks of Allentown PA; Sisters, Lucille B. Salomon of Allentown PA, Bernice C. Huntley of Culpepper VA and Louise D. Benda of Hedgesville WV; 7 Grandchildren, 1 Great Granddaughter and Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 27, 2003 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville PA. Family and Friends may Call 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Funeral Home. Pastor Roderick A. Hawkins officiating. Interment in Sky-View Memorial Park, Tamaqua PA.
