Mary Jean Bright Pappas, age 71, of Clearbrook VA, died Monday, January 16, 2006 in the Winchester Medical Center.

Born in Hellertown PA, she is the daughter of the late Raymond Newton and Thelma Burrows Bright. She was a Dog Trainer with the Lehigh German Shepherd Dog Club and was a Member of the Allentown Dog Training Club. She was a Member of Open Door Baptist Church. She married Charles J. Pappas on June 18, 1955, in Hellertown. They were married for fifty years.

She is survived by her Sister, Betty Horn, of Hellertown PA; Brother, Raymond Bright, Jr. of Bethlehem PA: Nephew, Scott Seal, with whom she resided; and Nieces and Nephews.

Family and Friends may call 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2006 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown.
