Louis B. Fasing, age 77, of Schnecksville PA, died Tuesday, November 25, 2003 in his home. He was the Husband of Dorothy J. (Kennedy) Fasing. The couple celebrated their 56th Wedding Anniversary this past April. Born in Whiting IN, he was the son of the late Louis and Mary Fasing. He was the Manager of Personnel, Safety and Training for the Lehigh Portland Cement Company for 10 years before retiring in 1991. Prior to that, he worked for the Universal Atlas Cement Company for 32 years. He was a Member of St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church, Orefield PA. He was a Veteran of the United States Army having served during World War II as a paratrooper with the 11th Airborne Division in the Asiatic Pacific Theater of Operations. He was a 4th Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus, Knight Council # 10921 and a Member of the Guthsville Rod & Gun Club. He is survived by his Wife; Sons, District Judge Timothy L. Fasing of Centennial CO, Attorney Gregory J. Fasing of Denver CO and Brian J. Fasing of Bristow VA; and 5 Grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 29, 2003 in the Church. Family and Friends may call 9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Saturday in the St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church, 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield PA . The Reverend Monsignor Robert J. Wargo, Celebrant. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery, Wescosville PA. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Schnecksville PA.
