Through life, like a trooper he roared.
Now up in the sky like an eagle he'll soar.
He walked through life in his own way.
Not worrying about what others may say.
That mischievous smile may have made him seem unkind,
But in his warm blue eyes, his true soul would shine.
Many people may not have known the real man
Who was always willing to give someone a hand.
He would give away the shirt on his back
To help someone else get on the right track.
His tough exterior was only skin.
The real heart of Todd always came from within.
Like a brother to all that he knew so well,
His caring ways we could always tell.
There was the gentle way he played with his son,
Patient and kind, making him number one.
A doting Father, he gave him all his heart.
Their bond together will never part.
Through boundaries we may not understand,
Daddy will always be holding his hand.
He may no longer be able to touch
The people in this world who love him so much.
But in our hearts he will always stay,
Fond memories of him never fading away.
I'm so glad that I was able to know the real Todd.
We will love you and miss you always!
