Reverend Sharyn A. (McCurdy) Farnholtz, age 60, of Walnutport PA, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg PA. She was the wife of Reverend David F. Farnholtz. The couple celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary last July.

Born in Utica NY, Sharyn was the daughter of the late James A. and Evelyn F. (Gurney) McCurdy. She was ordained by the Life Center Ministries International in Harrisburg and served as Elder of Agape New Testament Fellowship, Schnecksville PA. Sharyn had previously worked a seasonal job at Myster Plant Nursery, Northampton PA. She was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved to fish.

She is survived by her Husband; Daughter, JoDee L., wife of Donald P. Cook of Walnutport PA; Son, Nathaniel D. Farnholtz and his wife Cathy of Northampton PA; and 6 Grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will take place on Monday, May 22, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. at Agape New Testament Fellowship, 5229 Route 873, Schnecksville, with the Reverend Richard G. Heaney officiating. Family and Friends may call 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Church. Interment will take place on Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at 9:30 a.m. in the Slatedale Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Schnecksville. All floral tributes should be delivered to the Funeral Home instead of the church on Monday afternoon.
