Grace K. 'Cookie' (Mumbauer) Gaspar, age 82, of Springtown PA, died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2002 at Phoebe Richland Health Care, Richlandtown PA. She was the widow of the late Frank S. Gaspar, II who died in 2002.

Born in Lockport PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert R. Mumbauer and C. Rebecca (Kehs) Mumbauer. She and her late husband Owned and Operated the Diary Whiz Restaurant for 10 years until retiring. She was a Member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Pleasant Valley PA.

She was known as 'Cookie' for the all the years she spent cooking at the Trinity UCC Camp and Scout Camp. She was a Member of the Trinity UCC Quilter's and Trinity Church Women. She was also a former Sunday School Teacher, Consistory and Choir Member at the Church.

She was a Former member of United Methodist Women and Lower Keys Woman's Club; Former Girl Scout Leader; Former Cub Scout Den Mother. She was an ardent traveler having traveled Canada, Mexico, and 49 of our 50 states. She was a fishing person, having landed a Champion African Pompano while fishing in the Florida Keys. She and her husband spent 38 Winters on Big Pine Key, Florida. And she liked to tell how she shook hands with five of our presidents.

She is survived by her Son, Ondrey Gaspar of Pleasant Valley PA; Step Sons, Ronald Gaspar of Idaho and Frank Gaspar, III of Bloomsburg PA; Step Daughters, Loretta, wife of William Lindsay of Las Vegas NV and Ginger, wife of William Morris of Hoffman Estates IL; Sister, Joyce, wife of Robert Rosenberger of Quakertown PA; 2 Grandchildren, 8 Step Grandchildren and Nieces and a Nephew.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Trinity United Church of Christ, 1990 Route 212, Pleasant Valley PA. Family and Friends may Call 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Church. Interment in Trinity Great Swamp UCC Cemetery, Spinnerstown PA. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Hellertown PA.
