Margaret A. 'Peggy' (Lewis) Hagenbuch, age 92, formerly of the Phoebe Apartments, Allentown PA, died Tuesday, January 23, 2007 in the Miller Building on the campus of The Phoebe Home where she had been residing. She was the wife of the late Jay P. Hagenbuch.

Born in Philadelphia PA (March 18, 1914), Peggy was the daughter of the late Walter H. and Catherine (Angus) Lewis. She was employed as a Food Service Worker and Baker at the Parkland High School, formerly located in Orefield PA, for 15 years before retiring in 1970. Peggy was a Member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs PA. She was a former Volunteer with 25 years of service at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township PA and former Chairperson of the Hospitality Committee of Phoebe.

She is survived by her Daughter, Sondra V. 'Sunny' Mertz and her husband Mel of Schnecksville PA; 3 Grandchildren; and 2 Great Grandsons. She is predeceased in death by her Daughter, Linda K. Houck, 2005.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 26, 2007 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville PA with the Reverend David S. Mohr officiating. Family and Friends are invited to call 10:00 - 11:00 am Friday in the Funeral Home. Interment to follow the service at Union Church Cemetery, Neffs PA.
