Dear Helen,
I know that you will be missed. You were so good to me when I lived in Pennsylvania and I have missed you so much since I moved. I will always remember you and will cherish our friendship. My thoughts and prayers are with Sam and the boys and their families.

Even though it has been several years since I've seen Aunt Helen, her loss is felt deeply. I have wonderful memories of growing up next door to the Adameks, including many holiday and birthday celebrations. My thoughts and prayers are with Uncle Sam, Greg and Joe and their families as we mourn Aunt Helen's loss.

How I'll miss my godmother! She's been there for me since long before I can remember, I know. From providing my christening gown to being there to help me pick out my wedding gown, even offering up her own if I was unable to find one that I could afford. Because my parents weren't available at the time, she went with me to consult with the priest in the church where I was to be married, because I needed a parent figure with me. When it came time for me to move away from Pennsylvania with my husband, she agreed to keep my piano at her house until we had a home with room for the piano, just as a parent might have done. She comforted me when Grammy Ganssle passed away, and then again when Grandpop passed away, even though I should have been comforting her. She fulfilled her role as my godmother beyond ordinary expectations. And she always made me feel a cherished part of the family. Our family is richer for having had her amongst us.
