Ruth Elaine (Smith) Albright, age 71, of Bethlehem PA, formerly of Hellertown PA, died Friday, March 31, 2006 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg, Bethlehem PA. She is the Wife of the late Richard W. Sr., 1977.

Born in Kingfisher OK, she is the daughter of the late Stephen Smith and Irene Smith Abbott. Ruth worked as an Auditor for the Allentown State Hospital for 14 years until retiring. She and her late husband were the Tax Collectors in Hellertown for 2 terms. She was a Member of the First Windish Fraternal Benefit Society of America; and past Member of the Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, Hellertown, where she was active in the Choir.

She is survived by her Sons, Richard W. Jr. and his wife Debra of Bethlehem PA, Gary S. and his wife Alesia of Bethlehem PA and Michael P. and his wife Terry of Harrisburg PA; Daughter, Suzanne M., wife of Richard T. Palenchar of Hellertown PA; Brothers, Paul "Bud" Abbott in Florida and Gregory Abbott of Slatington PA; 10 Grandchildren, Jason R. Albright, Kelly L. Aronhalt, Shannon M. Albright, Jessica L. Albright, Lauren A. Albright, Amanda L. Edwards, Christopher M. Albright, Nicole R. Albright, Jennifer M. Marinelli and Matthew J. Albright; 2 Great Grandchildren, Jason R. Albright Jr. and Hope E. Albright; and Son-in-law, John T. Aronhalt of Dillsburg PA. She is predeceased in death by her Daughter, Donna L. Aronhalt, 2005.

Services will be held 12:00 noon Sunday, April 2, 2006 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown with the Reverend Richard L. Teitsworth officiating. Family and Friends may call 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon Sunday at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow services at the Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
