Celeste (Perilla) Rau, age 83, of Sugar Pie Drive, Schnecksville PA, formerly of Allentown PA, died Friday, June 30, 2006 in the home of her daughter Jackie L. Mory.

She was the wife of the late John E. 'Jack' Rau, 2005.

Born in Hazleton PA, Celeste was the daughter of the late Anthony and Sarah (DeMelfi) Perilla. She was a Member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield PA.

She is survived by her Daughter, Jackie L. Mory and her Husband, Luther, with whom she resided; Son, James D. Rau and his Wife, Peggy, of Allentown PA and Daughter, Cynthia M. Schrey and her Husband, Edward, of Allentown PA; Sister, Marie Galliano and her Husband, John, of Allentown PA; Grandchildren, Wendy Mory Aach, Esq. and her Husband, Kevin, Amanda Schrey, Michael Schrey, Jonathan Rau and Katherine Rau; and Great Grandchildren, Cayleigh Aach, Anthony Aach and Brielle Schrey. She is predeceased in death by her Brother, Ralph "Funz" Perilla.

A Mass of a Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield PA with the Reverend Patrick H. Lamb, Celebrant. Family and Friends may call 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Church. Interment will follow the Mass at Greenwood Cemetery, Allentown PA. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Schnecksville PA.
