Earl R. Raub, age 84 years, of Bethlehem PA, died Tuesday, October 4, 2005 at Praxis Alzheimer Facility, Easton PA. He was the husband of Anna M. (Watt) Raub. The couple celebrated their 44th Wedding Anniversary last November. Born in Coopersburg PA, Earl was the son of the late Henry Stewart and Victoria (Lowmiller) Raub. He was a Steel Worker in the Machine Shop of the former Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 43 years, retiring in 1982. He was a Member of Christ's Church at Lowhill, New Tripoli PA. He honorably and faithfully served his country in the Second World War as a PFC in the United States Army, 90th Infantry Division. He was a Life Member of the Allentown Hiking Club and the Sy-Wy-Co Fire Company. He is survived by his Wife; Son, Larry L. Raub of Bethlehem PA; Daughter, Deb, wife of Mark Mjaatvedt of Allentown PA; Sister, Alice Kittek of Easton PA; and 2 Grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 10, 2005 in Christ's Church at Lowhill, 4695 Lowhill Church Road, New Tripoli with the Reverend Lorraine M. Sell officiating. Visitation period will take place from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Monday in the Church. A private interment will follow the service at Freidensville Cemetery, Lower Saucon Township. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Schnecksville PA.
