Frank A. Rakowski, age 55, of Waldheim Road, Hellertown PA, died Saturday, September 14, 2002 at the St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill PA.

Born in Baltimore MD, he was the son of Doris S. (Smith) Rakowski and the late Chester M. Rakowski. He was a Senior Communication Engineer for INFONXX, Bethlehem PA for more than 5 years. He previously worked as a Senior Network Engineer for SEA LAND, Elizabeth NJ for 5 years. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, Retired Army First Sergeant, having served during the Vietnam War. He was a Member of the VFW 3094, Hellertown and the Edward H. Ackerman Post 397, Hellertown.

He is survived by his Son, Frank A. Rakowski, II of Rochelle Park NJ; Daughter, Theresa A. Klein of Howell NJ; Brothers, Chester M. Rakowski Jr. of Aberdine MD, Phillip F. Rakowski of Baltimore MD and Mark C. Rakowski of Baltimore, MD; and 2 Grandchildren. He is predeceased in death by his brother, Gary C. Rakowski who died in 2000.

Funeral Services will be held 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 16, 2002 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown PA. Family and Friends may call 3-5 and 7- 8 p.m. Monday in the Funeral Home. Interment in Arlington National Cemetery with Full Military Honors on October 1, 2002 at 2:00 p.m.
