Thomas Wandishin, 67, of Helena MT, died November 3, 2006. He was the son of the late Frank and Catherine Wandishin of Bethlehem. Formerly of Nazareth PA, Tom and his wife Barbara (Sawchuck) moved to Montana in 1969. While in Montana, Tom and his wife owned and operated the 3 Cheers Motel and Valley Machine and Engineering. Tom taught glass blowing at MSU, worked for Summit Engineering and managed an advanced lab for AMP. He eventually started Manufacturing Technologies in Sheridan. Tom had a passion for big game hunting and fishing and made several trips to Alaska in search of his trophies. Survivors include wife, Barbara of 44 year5s, his four children, Catherine Haag of Helena, Christine Wandishin of Helena, Carole Buckridge of Great Falls and son, Eric Wandishin of Belgrade, MT, sister, Anne Marie Henshaw of Hellertown, PA and eight grandchildren. A funeral mass was held Nov. 7th at our Lady of the Valley Church in Helena. At Tom's request a special Irish Wake will be held in spring to celebrate his life.
