Robert L. Wagner, age 70, of Schnecksville PA, died Saturday, May 31, 2003 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township PA. He was the Husband of Mary Ann (Henry) Wagner. The couple celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary last February.

Born in Allentown PA, he was the son of the late Ellis G. and Elda R. (Rauch) Wagner. He was General Manager for the A.J. Henry Lumber Co. in Neffs PA for 24 years, retiring in 1995. Prior to that, he was a Field Technician for the former Electronic Associates NJ, for 4 years. While working as a Field Technician, Mr. Wagner worked with the Apollo I Astronauts who nicked-named him the 'Music Man'. Prior to that, he was a Flight Simulator Technician for the former American Car & Foundry in Maryland for 9 years.

He was a Member of the Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5500 Route 873, Schnecksville PA. Mr. Wagner was the current Vice-President & Board Member of The Neffs National Bank since 1985. He also serves as Secretary and Treasurer of Neffs Bancorp, Inc., the parent company of The Neffs National Bank. He was a Former Board Member of Neffs Volunteer Fire Company.

He is survived by his Wife; Daughters, Julie L. Wehr of Neffs PA and Nonee L. Hoban of Cherry Hill NJ; Sister, Ruth W. Henry of Schnecksville PA; and Nieces and a Nephew.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 04, 2003 in the Church. Family and Friends may Call 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Church. The Reverend Dennis W. Moore and The Reverend Jami L. Possinger officiating. Interment in Union Church Cemetery, Neffs PA. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Schnecksville PA.
