Lawrence Roy Wagner, of Slatington PA, formerly of Alpena MI, died Friday, January 14, 2005 in his home. He was the husband of Maryjane (Costanzo) Wagner. The couple celebrated their 43rd Wedding Anniversary last April. Born in Alpena MI, he was the son of the late Roy C. and Norma M. (St. Charles) Wagner. He was the Founder, Owner and Operator of Wagner & Sons Machine Shop, Inc., in Allentown PA since 1979. He was a member of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Slatington PA. He was also a Member of the Eastern Pennsylvania Retreads Motorcycle Club; and Member of the Lost & Found Ski Club in Delaware. He faithfully and honorably served his country during a peacetime era in the United States Navy. He is survived by his Wife; Sons, Roy C. and his wife Melanie A. (Caravetta) Wagner of Apalachin NY and Timothy M. Wagner of Lehighton PA; Daughter, Tricia A., wife of Rick A. Pletz of Westlake OH; Brother, Ronald L. Wagner of Clarkston MI; Sisters, Marilyn J. Soltysiak of Alpena MI and Arlene M. Wagner of Clarkston MI; Grandchildren, Cody, Hailey and Hadleigh Pletz, Alexandra, Matthew and Andrew Wagner and Mya and Gabriel Wagner. A Mass of a Christian Burial will take place 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2005 at Assumption B.V.M. Catholic Church, 633 West Washington Street, Slatington PA. Family and Friends may Call 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Church. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Schnecksville PA.
