Clarence 'Sonny' Neff, age 77, of Slatington PA, died Wednesday, October 17, 2007 in his home. He was the husband of Faye A. (Neff) Neff. The couple celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary last November 17th.

Born in Slatedale PA, January 10, 1930, Clarence was the son of the late Clarence B. and Olive P. (Handwerk) Neff. He was employed as a Mixing Machine Operator at the former ALPO Pet Foods in South Whitehall Township PA for 29 years, retiring in 1994. He faithfully and honorably served his country during the Korean War with a rank of Corporal in the United States Army. He was awarded the Korean Service Medal with three Bronze Camp Stars, the Purple Heart Medal and the Combat Infantry Badge with two Oak Leaf Clusters.

He is survived by his Wife; Children, Pat, Kim, Brian and Lisa, all of Slatington PA; 3 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the Family. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Schnecksville PA.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart Visiting Nurses and Hospice c/o the Funeral Home, PO Box 196, Schnecksville PA 18078-0196.
