Clara E. (Klotz) Thomas, age 90, of Leithsville Road, Hellertown PA, died Friday, November 2, 2007 at VNA Hospice House at St. Luke's, Lower Saucon Township PA. She is the wife of the late Charles "Beanie" H. Thomas and Russell A. Leith.

Born in Upper Saucon Township PA, April 19, 1917, she is the daughter of the late Joseph and Anne (Anders) Klotz. Clara worked at the former Shawnee Penn, Bethlehem PA as a sewer until retiring in 1982. She is a member of New Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lower Saucon Township PA.

She is survived by her Sons, Kenneth R. Leith, husband of Joyce of Bethlehem PA, Roger L. Leith of Hellertown PA, Larry E. Leith, husband of Susan of Bath PA and Dennis C. Thomas, husband of Beverly of Hellertown PA: 8 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.

Services will be private Monday, November 5, 2007 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. There will be no public calling period. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Church Food Bank, 3233 Apples Church Rd., Bethlehem PA 18015.
