Christine A. Kacmar, age 87, of Hellertown PA, died Sunday, November 4, 2007 at VNA Hospice House at St. Luke's, Lower Saucon Township PA. She is the wife of the late John Kacmar.

She was born in Bethlehem PA, November 16, 1920 and had worked at Surefit, Bethlehem for several years. Christine is a member of the Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, Hellertown.

She is survived by her Son, Dennis J. and his wife Lisa M. of Bethlehem PA.

Family and friends are invited to call 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown, followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice at St. Luke's, 1510 Valley Center Parkway, Bethlehem PA 18017.

Dear Dennis,

My mother saw the notice in Monday's paper. I am very sorry to learn of your loss. I hope your mother did not suffer very long or very much.

I remember reading about your father's death many, many years ago. I know it must have been hard on your mother to be alone all these years. I'm sure it placed a large responsibility and burden on you as well.

I had the pleasure of meeting Christine numerous times while she stayed at St Luke's. She was a delightful person and wonderful patient.
