Shirley M. Gad, age 84, of Fort Myers FL, passed away on November 12, 2007. She was the wife of the late Henry J. Gad and the daughter of the late Clemmie Nauman Bird and John Harold Nauman. She was predeceased by her Son, Richard J. Gad; and Brother, John Nauman Bird.

A native of Hellertown PA, she lived in residence for 69 years before retiring to Fort Myers FL. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Hellertown PA were ahe was a Sunday School and Bible School Teacher for many years. She was active in community affairs, notably the Hellertown Centennial in 1972.

She was an Auxiliary Member of the Hellertown Legion Post 397 and Member of the Hellertown Historical Society. She was inducted into the Lehigh Valley Bowling Hall of Fame in 1979.

She is survived by her Daughter, Sandra L. Haag, wife of William H. Haag and Daughter-in-Law, Wanda Gad; 3 Grandchildren, Michael J Sziy IV, Jennifer Gad and Timothy Gad; and 6 Great Grandchildren.

A Memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 27th at 7:00 pm at First United Church of Christ, 501 Northampton Street, Hellertown PA.
