M. " Dusty" Sands Ward, age 65, of Longswamp Township, Berks County PA, died Monday, February 4, 2008 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township PA. She is the wife of Walter L. Ward.

Born in Massachusetts on June 23, 1942, she is the daughter of the late Donald Sands and Emma (Carney) Sands.

S ervices will be private. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Hellertown PA.

We are saddened to hear about Dusty. I will always remember the times we visited Aunt Erma and Uncle Dom in Doylestown for a family get together. As her younger cousin, I held such admiration for her exuberance and intelligence.
