Gerard F. Deegan, 65, of Bethlehem died Sunday, April 13, 2008 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. He is the husband of Kathleen M. (Walters) Deegan.

Born in Bethlehem on August 7, 1942, he is the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Haderer) Deegan. Jerry worked for Northampton Co. Children and Youth for 20 years as a supervisor, he owns/operates along with his son - Tohickon Family Camp Ground in Quakertown and had also owned/operated the former Lehigh Valley Police Supply, Whitehall.

Survivors: In addition to his loving wife of 39 years; son: James P. and his wife Chanin E. of Bethlehem; sister: Mary Frances and her husband Vincent DeAngelo of Bethlehem; 2 Grandchildren: Makenna and Caden. Predeceased by a daughter: Christine Ann and a brother: Michael.

Services: Family and friends are invited to call 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street - Hellertown and 8:15 - 9:15 a.m. Friday at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ursula's Catholic Church, Fountain Hill. The interment will conclude services at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
