Evelyn H. (Besck) Walck, 94, of Longswamp Twp., formerly of Hellertown, died Monday, August 11, 2008 at the home of her granddaughter. She is the wife of the late John A. Walck (died July 24, 1994). Born in Lower Saucon Twp. on December 30, 1913, she is the daughter of the late Charles M. & Catherine T. (DeLong) Beck. Evelyn was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Hellertown.

Survivors: Sons: Lewis T. and his wife Annie of Coretz, CO, John A., Jr. and his wife Mary of Altomonte Springs, FL; daughters: Orpha C. wife of Francis A. Fluck, Jr. of Coopersburg, Louise M. Balodis of Pennsburg, Lucy M. Capuano of Hellertown, Ellen E. wife of Kenneth Heffner of Souderton; 13 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren 5 Great Great Grandchildren. Predeceased in death by sisters, Winifred Smith, Reba Burkevich, & Marie A. Trittenbach.

Services: Family and friends are invited to call 10 - 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 20th, 2008 at the church, 645 Main Street - Hellertown, followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. Hellertown.
