Trustworthy and reliable, Steve was one of the hardest workers I have ever met. He was also a fearless gambler, particularly on the blackjack table.
Most of all he was a man dedicated to his family and the pain of his loss will not quickly subside. Melissa and the boys are in the thoughts of myself and my family and will continue to be so.
Goodbye Steve. I will not forget you.

To the Farrell and Bissinger Families,
My deepest sympathy on the loss of Steven one who was many things to so many people. Son, husband, father, brother, uncle, in-law & friend to name a only few.
May you all be comforted by the knowledge that you still have each other and you all share memories of Steven which can never be taken from you. And do share them with each other, they are part of his legacy.
May you find peace.

You will be sadly missed by your friends & family in Mayfield, Scotland. You were a great pal to my husband Andy who you played wi throughout your childhood. I'll never forget when you came to visit & I tried to remind you of the step outside the back door when you went for cones and you missed the step and fell down, but saved the cones. I'll always remember Ricky Raccoon which you gave my daughter Nicola on her 2nd Birthday. You were too young to be taken from us. You will always be in our thoughts and memories.
All my love, Karen Malko

The best uncle

Laura D'Arcy    10-28-2008

My uncle steven was simply the best. I missed him so much when he was im America but i knew he had a great life over there with my auntie melissa and the boys. I remember so much fun times with him when we where at the caravan and even when i went to visit him in America. I have not only lost my uncle but my godfather too. Hearing about his death was such a shock he was too young it still does not seem real. All i can say now is uncle steven you said you would show me how to do the card trick with the ash but now i will never know how its done. i will love and miss you always and you will be forever in my heart. lots of love laura (brat)XxX

A friend everyone needs

The last day I saw Steven, I was having marital issues. I had nowhere to go, and my wife froze our bank account and emptied it. Steven emptied his pockets for me and gave me his only $25 to get me out of a tough situation. There are very few men I could say I loved. Steven was one of them. I miss you brother... Til we meet again my friend.
