Wonderful Memories

Jay Mershon    04-14-2009

Randy, Betsy and the George family, I'm very sorry that I just saw that LaRue passed away. While Randy I have not been close to LaRue or Randy for many years, I do remember her as the cool mom next door. She was always quick with a smile and could always make you laugh in a second. I remember the A-Treat and Horlacher (not drinking it, just seeing it!) on the patio and just sitting and talking for hours. I remember the trips to Neffs pool, the farm, the stock car races at Dorney and dinner with the Laubs. All I can say is that LaRue was really like a second mom to me for a few years back in the early 70's. I'm sorry to know that she has passed away but feel very lucky to have been close to the Laub family at a time when they were like a second family to me. I know she is sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Please accept my deepest, sincere condolences and I truly apologize for not being at LaRue's memorial. -Jay
