Doris C. (Fehr) Fackenthall, 83, of Bethlehem, formerly of Hellertown, died Thursday, April 16, 2009 at her residence. She is the wife of the late Stanley R. Fackenthall (died Oct. 4, 1978).

Born in Fountain Hill on December 20, 1925 to the late Milton & Lottie (Kies) Fehr. She owned and operated a day-care from her home for 6 years. Doris was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Bethlehem. She is a former member of Christ Lutheran Church Hellertown and the Moravian Stars, Bethlehem.

Survivors: Sons, Richard S. and his wife Christina of Littleton CO and Scott E. and his wife Lori Kochanski of Easton PA; Daughters, Linda D. wife of Frank E. Benzak of Bethlehem PA and Donna M. wife of William Mackaravitz of Bethlehem PA; 12 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. She is predeceased in death by a Daughter, Lori S. George; Brother, Lester Fehr; and Sister, Ina R. Reinbold.

Services: Memorial Service: 10 a.m. Monday April 20th, 2009 at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, 521 East Locust Street, Bethlehem. There will be no calling hours. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown. The Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown is in charge of arrangements.
