Edward P. Trahey, 89, of Lower Saucon Twp. died Monday, June 8, 2009 at his residence. He is the husband of the late Lillian A. (Kennedy) Trahey.

Born in Newfoundland, Canada on July 10, 1919 to Timothy and Margaret (Ghaney) Trahey. Edward worked as an iron worker for United State Steel, Cyclone Fence Division in Philadelphia for 35 years until retirement. He is a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Colesville and the Knights of Columbus in Philadelphia. He loved fishing and the Philadelphia Flyers.

Survivors: Sadly missed by his family; Daughter, Donna M. wife of Frank J. Duffy of Suffolk, VA; Sons, Edward P. and his wife Marissa of Sydney, OH and Paul R. and his wife Marguerite A. with whom he resided; Sisters, Bridget Lewis of Newfoundland, Canada and Margaret Tighe of New Jersey; 9 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.

Services: Family and friends are invited to call 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Wednesday and 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street - Hellertown followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, 4101 Old Bethlehem Pike, Colesville, PA. The interment will conclude services at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
