Elsie M. (Anthony) Arner, 76, of Walnutport, died Thursday, June 11, 2009 in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.

She was the wife of Calvin A. Arner, Jr. The couple celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary last August. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ Indianland, Lehigh Township.

Survivors: Husband; daughters, Karen A. Knappenberger and her husband Frank, Janet M. Scheetz, both of Lehigh Township; brother, Richard Anthony of Lehigh Township.

Services: Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 15, 2009 at Indianland Cemetery, Lehigh Township. No calling hours. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., is in charge of arrangements.
