Eleanor M. Laubach, 65, of Hellertown died Saturday, August 8, 2009 at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill.

Born in Hellertown on June 24, 1944 to the late Paul J. and Mary A. (Oravec) Laubach. Eleanor worked as a service co-ordinator for Harned-Durham, Macungie for many years. She was a very faithful member of Christ Lutheran Church of Lower Saucon, where she was Vice President of the Congregational Council, member of the Caring & Outreach Committee, Evangelism Committee and Chaired the Church Picnic for 25 years. She volunteered at many of the community festivals and was a member and Past Exalted Ruler of BPOE #191, Bethlehem.

Survivors: Brother: Rodney M. Laubach of Bethlehem and companion, John C. Trumbore of Hellertown.

Services: Family and friends are invited to the service at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Christ Lutheran Church of Lower Saucon, immediately followed by a reception in fellowship hall of the church. Private interment at Union Cemetery of Hellertown. The Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown is in charge of arrangements.
