Maxine I. Johnson, 95, of Hellertown, died Sunday, September 20, 2009 at home. She is the widow of Edward E. Johnson. Born in Bethlehem on February 13, 1914 to the late Henry William and Jenny (Bloss) Schwab.

Survivors: Son, Edward E. Johnson, Jr. Hellertown; Daughter, Darlene wife of John Bolig of Dover, Delaware; and Grandchildren, Tamarind J. Johnson and Cassandra A. Johnson.

Services: Since she enjoyed entertaining in her home, family and friends are invited to celebrate her life from 2-6 p.m. Thursday, September 24th, 2009 at her residence. The Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown is in charge of arrangements.
