E. William Virtue, 82, of Kintnersville, died Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Liberty Nursing Home, Allentown. He is the husband of the late Beverly D. (Hammer) Virtue. Born in Philadelphia on February 4, 1927 to the late Elwood and Evelyn (Mounce) Virtue. He owned and operated the Perkasie Container Corp., Perkasie. William served his country faithfully during WWII in the US Navy. He was a member of the LuLu Shrine Band, Ambler; played with the Shriner's for the past 15 years at various nursing homes etc., Fernwood Lodge, Philadelphia, over 50 years, and Halifax Yacht Club in Florida. Survivors: Son, Bradley E. and his wife Patricia Virtue of Hilltown; Daughter, Beverly L. Virtue-Curry and her husband Brian Curry of Telford; Grandchildren, David Boston, Eric and Courtney Virtue, Matthew and Nicholas Curry. Services: Family and friends may call 11:00 - 12 noon Sunday at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street, Hellertown followed by a service at 12 noon.
