There is no way to explain how you have touched my heart. Your strenght, attitude and and love for your family had brought you as far as you came. You are my dearest true friend. Never asking for anything except friendship in return. I am truly blessed to have known you. Mark, Emily and your families will always be in my prayers. And I will make sure that Brianna and Emily stay close forever. I hope their bond becomes as strong as the two of ours did. I'm glad that I was able to spend the time I did with you and to let you know just how special you were to me. I thank your family for including me. I will never forget you. NEVER!

My deepest sympathy to the Ernst Family during this sad time. Susan was the first patient I met when I received my first Chemo treatment. I admired her strengh and courage as she fought her battle. She instilled in me the "will to survive" and I cherish her kind words and support. She will truly be missed. Her journey has now ended and is now cancer free. My prayers are with all of you.

The plan of the Master Weaver

Terry and jim ferguson    11-17-2009

Our lives are but fine weavings that God and we prepare,
Each life becomes a fabric planned and fashioned in His care.
We may not always see just how the weavings intertwine,
But we must trust the Master's hand and follow His design,
For He can view the pattern upon the upper side,
While we must look from underneath
and trust His hand to guide...

Sometimes a strand of sorrow is added to His plan,
And though it's difficult for us, we still must understand
That it's He who fills the shuttle, it's He who knows what's best,
So we must weave in patience and leave to Him the rest.

Not till the loom is silent and the shuttles cease to fly
Shall God unroll the canvas and explain the reason why...
The dark threads are as needed in the Weaver's skillful hand
As the threads of gold and silver in the pattern He has planned.

We have been inspired by Susan's strength and faith. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mark and Emily.

Mark and Emily,
Susan, your mom and wife, was my dearest friend. She gave me her friendship without wanting anything in return. I will miss her greatly. Her courage, strength, and "It is what it is" attitude has inspired me to become a better person. She has touched my life. I am grateful that I was able to spend time with her in all her days. I hope our daughters have the same stong bond that we formed. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I know she will make a wonderful angel - to guide and watch over everyone that she loved.
With deepest sympathy,
Tina Coyle and Family

Dear Mark, Emily, Laureen, Mike, Nancy and Mrs. Moninghoff: I grew up knowing Nancy and Loreen (my sister's childhood close friend)and had the pleasure of getting to know Susan when she did the Relay for Life and came to our store for balloons. My heart goes out to all of you in this time of loss and sadness. Susan was truly a lovely, mature, couragous and caring person and I feel blessed that I had the pleasure of getting to know her. She loved her family very much, a trait that I find to be the most honorable to a person's character. My heart is truly with all of you.

My heart goes out to Mark,Emily and family,I hope that God gives you the strengh to get through the tough times but if you and your family were anything like Susan I'm sure you wil be just fine.I met her and her daughter about 2 years ago and she was a very kind and pleasant woman and she always said how she thought my children were so beautiful and everytime she came over to Tina she said the same thing but little did she know that she was the beatuiful one.Tina talked about her so much I felt like I knew her so well. When we did hang out we would just laugh and laugh, she never even acted like she was sick. She just went on,living for her family as you should even though its hard.So again my heart is with you.

I wish I had known that Susan passed away. I have been wondering how she was doing and am saddened to hear of her passing. I found about this by accident. She was a dear friend and I will miss her greatly (and getting into trouble with her!) Of course that was pre-Emily days.
