I'm sorry that we can't be there. I have very fond memories of Uncle Ben. It was always fun to visit when we were kids. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this sad time.

We had the pleasure and privlidge of meeting Ben at different family celebrations. He was a quiet, unassuming man, a true gentleman in every sense of the word. He leaves a beautiful legacy in his wonderful daughter and her husband, who were so dedicated to Ben, his four grandchildren, who he was so proud of and eight beautiful great-grand children. Our sympathies to all of you.

Dear Roberta and Family, I was truly sorry to hear of Uncle Ben's passing. I am so glad I was able to visit with him at the nursing home a month or so ago. He was peaceful and looked well. He showed me the tributes to him on his 100th birthday and was so proud of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. I remember my uncle as a soft-spoken, articulate man. Sincere. Intelligent. A true gentleman. I have many fond memories of spending holidays and many family visits together at my parents' home and in Brooklyn. You can take comfort, Roberta, in knowing you were a loving and devoted daughter to both your mom and dad and that you had a supportive husband in Donald.
My love and sympathy to you, Donald and your family.
Cousin, Olga
