Charles J. Longenbach, 73, of North Whitehall Township, died Thursday, February 25, 2010 in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Geneva M. “Dolly” (Reinhart) Longenbach.

Born in Northampton, November 27, 1936, Charles was the son of the late Calvin Sr. and Hallie (Heckman) Longenbach. He was employed at the former Tarkett, Inc. in Fullerton for 30 years before retiring.

Survivors: Wife; children, Ronald Longenbach, Christine Bloom, Brenda Williams, Renae Davidson; step children, Darin Weidner, Colleen Bollinger; brothers, Roy, Calvin, Jr., Richard and Jeremiah Longenbach; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren.

Service: Private. No calling hours. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. in Schnecksville is in charge of arrangements.
