George Bruce Krolikowski, 17, of Orefield, died Saturday, February 27, 2010 in his home.

Born in Norfolk, Virginia, May 7, 1992, he was the son of George W. ”Crow” and Sinara Snow (Trindade) Singerline with whom he resided. A junior at Parkland High School, George had a passion for photography and art. He was employed as a helping hand associate at Wegmans in South Whitehall Township. George was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed playing the Bass Guitar.

Survivors: Parents; Brother, George Hunter Singerline and his companion Jennifer Schantz at home; Maternal Grandmother, Celia (Periera) Trindade of Delray Beach, Florida.

Service: Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. No calling hours. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., in Schnecksville is in charge of arrangements.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to the funeral home, P.O. Box # 196, Schnecksville, PA 18078-0196.

As I think of George Bruce, I picture a kite flying skyward after the string has broken. The kite is so beautiful against the sun, but at the same time, it is sadly forever out of reach.
