Barbara A. Wimmer,93, of Saucon Valley Manor, Hellertown where she was a resident since October of 2000, died Thursday, March 4, 2010. She is the wife of the late Walter A. Wimmer (died April 16, 1991).

Born in Hellertown on November 7, 1916, she is the daughter of the late Issac Crilly and Anna B. (Abel) Henderson. Barbara worked as an Executive Secretary to the Vice President in the Legal Department of the Bethlehem Steel for 23 years. She was a member of First United Church of Christ, Hellertown, where she was a choir member for 47 years. In her later years she enjoyed collecting pens and was a meticulous note taker. She appeared in an article in the Life After 50 Magazine.

Survivors: Sisters, Anna M. Henderson of Emmaus and Doris H. Eisenhart of Nazareth; Nieces and Nephews. Predeceased by Sisters, Virginia Kelly and Claire Booth.

Services: Family and friends are invited to call 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 8, 2010 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street - Hellertown followed by the service at 2:00 p.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
