Paul R. "Sneaky Pete" Thomas, 76, of Walnutport, died Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton. He is the husband of Ruth J. (Holland) Thomas.

Born in Fountain Hill on April 12, 1933 to the late John and Flora (Koch) Thomas. Paul worked at the Bethlehem Steel as a Crane man for 36 years until retiring. He served his country honorably during the Korean War in the US Army.

Survivors: In addition to his loving Wife of 26 years; Sons, Paul R. Jr. and his wife Ella, Robert J., Alan J. and his wife Judy; Step Sons, Daniel, Thomas and Becky Hackman; Brothers, Richard, David and Willard; Sisters, Betty, Gloria, Emily, Grace and Rosemarie; 11 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Predeceased by a Daughter, Patricia R., Step Son, David J. Hackman; and a Grandson, Jeremy Hackman.

Services: Family and friends are invited to call 9 - 10 a.m. Saturday at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street - Hellertown followed by the service at 10 a.m. The interment will conclude services at New Jerusalem Cemetery, Lower Saucon Twp.
