Shirley L. (Walker) Larimer, 68, of Allentown, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 18, 2010 in her home. She was the wife of Eugene M. Larimer. The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last December 31.

Born in Sykesville, May 25, 1941, Shirley was the daughter of the late Fred and Mary (Fox) Walker. She was employed as an electronics technician for ABB, Inc. in Fogelsville for 19 years before retiring in 2004. She enjoyed ceramics, camping and traveling.

Survivors: Husband; daughters, Cheryle A. Olejack and her husband Mark of Coopersburg, Lisa L. Lloyd and her husband Richard of Tamaqua, Kelly L. Larimer and her companion Danny M. Uff of Allentown; brothers, Lawrence, Benjamin, Marlin, Kenneth and Glenn Walker all of the Sykesville area; grandchildren, Beth and Mark Olejack, Colin McShane; predeceased by a sister Sylvia Kitchner.

Services: Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2010 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville with Pastor Philip E. Propson officiating. Family and friends may call 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Jacobs Church Cemetery, New Tripoli.
