THE REV. DR. I. RAY BERRIAN, T    05-08-2010

Donato was a humble man of God who always said,'It's good that we can all be together.'

Other thoughts I remember were he would say, 'I was just a laborer and look at all that God gave me.'

He was generous in thankfulness for all who cared for him in the last years of his life.

He called me at Hospice 'My friend' and I said, 'You are my Father' and he replied, 'You are my son.'

His last words to me which I will cherish were when he said, 'I wish for you a long life and an easy death.'

There is an emptiness in my heart because of his homeward journey.

Dear Carol,
May you find comfort in memories of your father. Know that you and your mother are in my thoughts and prayers.
May God Bless both of you.

Thank you for your unconditional love and for your nurture through the years. You were the best Dad that a daughter could have had. I miss you very much but know that you are with our LORD.

I remember your Mom and Dad from my days at Our Lady of Pompeii. The Capuano family was one of the Pillars of that Parish. I spent alot of great time with Danny and Caroline! Truly a Great Loss! Rest in Peace Danny.

It has almost been 8 months since you left us to go home with the Lord. Your great faith and teachings through your example have been passed on to many and especially to me. You live on here through others who admired you and are following your example of what the Christian Walk is all about. Thank you, dad, for teaching me what is most important in life.
