Michael Raab, 89, of Lower Saucon Twp., died Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. He is the husband of Myra L. (Fulmer) Raab.

Born in Lower Saucon Twp. on October 1, 1920 to the late Jacob and Maria (Sarkany) Raab. Michael worked for PB&NE Railroad as a brakeman and a conductor for 31 years retiring in 1980. He served his country honorably during WWII in the US Army Air Force 5th Airborne.

Survivors: In addition to his loving Wife of 68 years; Sons, Randy M. and his wife Susan of Bethlehem and Keith B. and his wife Betty of Fuquay Varina, NC; Daughters, Melinda F. wife of Charles Cunningham Jr. of Manassas, VA and Jane M. wife of Robert Kline II of Hellertown; Brothers, William of Center Valley and John of Fountain Hill; Sisters, Maria Christensen of Hellertown and Theresa Waite of Waterbury, CT; 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by Brothers, Martin, Jacob, Louis and Stephen.

Services: Family and friends are invited to call 1-2 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2010 followed by the service at 2 p.m. at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown with military honors.
