Evelyn A. FaRannte, 81, formerly of Freemansburg, died Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Manor Care Health Services, Bethlehem. She is the wife of the late Russell J. FaRannte, Sr.

Born in Bethlehem on May 24, 1929 to the late Michael A. Dwinal and Marion (Rappe). Evelyn loved playing bingo, cards and crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed camping with her family. She graduated from Allen High School, Allentown, and was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Freemansburg.

Survivors: Children, Paul Krug and his wife Ada of Hellertown, Dolly Cope of Bethlehem, Carol Ann wife of Reed Albee of Nazareth, Cookie wife of Roger Mummey of Milton, Russ and his wife Debbie of Freemansburg, Mickey and his wife Debbie of Steel City and Jackie of Milton; Siblings, Dorothy Stauffee, Marion Kazmer both of Bethlehem and Harold and his wife Rose of Allentown; 18 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandson. Predeceased by 4 Brothers and 2 Grandsons.

Services: Family and friends are invited to call 9-11 a.m. Friday, July 16, 2010 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street - Hellertown followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.
