Frank S. Oncheck, Jr., 73, of Walnutport, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 19, 2010 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Annetta F. (Follweiler) Oncheck. The couple celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary last April 4.

Born in Walnutport, May 25, 1937, Frank was the son of the late Frank S. Sr. and Mary “Mitzi” (Seiler) Oncheck. He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during a peacetime era. Frank was employed as a bus driver for the Carbon-Lehigh Intermediate Unit in Walnutport for the past several years. Prior to that, he was a Fleet Supervisor for the former Chloramone Corp. in Delaware for 10 years. He was first employed at his grandfather's knitting mill in Walnutport before and after being discharged from the military.

Survivors: In addition to his loving wife; daughter, Suzanne Oncheck of Parryville; sons, Scott A. Oncheck and his wife Leeka and their daughter Kelsey of Kunkletown and Ryan F. Oncheck of Germansville; siblings, Maryann Bishop of Fountain Hill, Theresa E. Jones of Florida, Kathleen J. Grammes of Slatington, Eddie P. Oncheck of Green Lane, Ann Marie Meckes of Whitehall and Stella L. Schoch of Walnutport.

Service: Private. No calling hours. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. in Schnecksville is in charge of arrangements.
