Stephen E. "Checko" Anthony, 63, of Bethlehem Twp. died Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at his residence. He is married to Frances (Moretz) Anthony.

Born in Fountain Hill on November 26, 1946 to the late Stephen J. and Elizabeth (Chabak) Anthony. Stephen worked at B&B Pools as a pool builder for 25 years until retiring and was a Bartender at Crossroads Hotel, Hellertown for 15 years. He served his country honorably during the Vietnam War in the US Navy.

Survivors: Children: Christopher L. and wife Rachel of Ft. Dix, NJ, Jennifer L. wife of Dwight D. Nuss of Hellertown; Step Daughters: Kelly wife of Ron Andersch of Walnutport, Kimberly wife of Tyron Francis in Japan; Siblings: Francis and wife Ranee, Richard and wife Sharon, Christine wife of Rodney Meilinger and Mark, all of Hellertown; Dennis and wife Marion of Bethlehem; and 7 Grandchildren.

Services: Family and friends are invited to call 3-4 p.m. Saturday, July 24, 2010 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street - Hellertown followed by the Memorial Service at 4 p.m.
