Kenneth J. Hendershot, 80, of Marshall's Creek, died Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He is the husband of the late Hiroko Sally (Toda).

Born in Easton to the late Jacob and Julia (Steckel) Hendershot. Kenneth worked at Binney-Smith, Easton for 30 years until retiring. He served his country honorably during Korean War in the US Army, recipient of the Purple Heart.

Survivors: Step daughters: Yumiko Narahara wife of Yashusi in Japan, Kate wife of Anthony J. Kmetz of Hellertown, Nancy Harner wife of John of Wind Gap; Grandchildren: Rodney, Michael and Scott Saylor, Daivd and Stefanie Statler and Hikali Narahara; 12 Great Grandchildren; 9 nieces and nephews. Predeceased by grandson Minoru; brothers: Donald and Clifford Henershot; Sister Doris Diehl.

Services: Private. The interment will be at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown. The Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown is in charge of arrangements.
