Ernest M. Bachman, age 89, of Durham Road, Easton PA, died Thursday, March 13, 2003 in his home. He was the Widower of the late Margaret H. (Hinkle) Bachman, 1998.

Born in Williams Township PA, he was the son of the late Marcus and Minnie (Larish) Bachman. He and his late wife Owned and Operated a Dairy Farm in Williams Township for many years. After his retirement, he delivered papers on a route in the Frenchtown NJ area . He was very proud of the fact that he increased his route from 100 homes to 500 homes. He was a Member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Williams Township.

He is survived by his Sons, Glen E. Bachman of Easton PA, Ralph R. Bachman of Easton PA and Jason P. Bachman of Easton PA; Daughters, Judith A. Paulus of Easton PA, Beth D. Merkle of Easton PA and Jane M. Lick of Easton PA; 14 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2003 in St. John's United Church of Christ, 2720 Morgan Hill Road, Easton. Family and Friends may call 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, in the Church. Interment in Union Cemetery of Hellertown. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Hellertown PA.
