Kenneth L. Bray, 88, of Orefield, died Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Liberty Nursing & Rehab Center, Allentown. He was the husband of Betty J. (Dunton) Bray. The couple celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary last September.

Born in Allentown, August 13, 1921, he was the son of the late Elmer and Esther (Schwoyer) Bray. He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II where he participated in action with the 4th Marine Division at Iwo Jima. Kenneth was self-employed as a kitchen designer and installer in the Lehigh Valley for many years before retiring. He was a member of the Orefield congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Survivors: Wife; son, Kenneth R. Bray and his wife, Virginia, of Clinton, New Jersey; daughter, Jennifer Terefinko and her husband, Glenn, of Allentown; sister, Annette Bray of Quakertown; grandson, Christopher K. Bray of New York City.

Service: A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 7 at the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 4733 Shankweiler Road, Orefield. No calling hours. Private interment with military honors at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. in Schnecksville is in charge of arrangements.
