Jean E. Opdyke, 69, of Hellertown, died Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. She is the wife of the late James R. Opdyke who died August 18, 1999. Born in Clinton, NJ on December 20, 1940 to the late William and Jean (Fornicola) Johnson.

Survivors: Children: Kenneth W. Brink, Dorothy J. wife of Joseph Gerstenberg both of Hellertown, Don W. Brink of Effort, Mary M. Opdyke of Freemansburg; Siblings: Richard Johnson and his wife Beatrice of El Paso, TX, Kay Damiano of Trenton, NJ; 10 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren. Predeceased by a great grandaughter: Emma.

Services: Private interment at Union Cemetery of Hellertown. The Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown is in charge of arrangements.
