Edward A. Reckus, Jr., 65, of Schnecksville, died Sunday, August 01, 2010 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Jean C. (Conroy) Reckus. The couple observed their 39th wedding anniversary in June.

Born in Allentown, PA November 9, 1944, Ed was the son of the late Edward A. & Helen M. (Kessler) Reckus, Sr. Ed was a Professional Truck Driver for various Trucking Companies for 35 years. He was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Northampton.

Survivors: In addition to his wife; daughter, Keri-Ann and her husband Michael Zeigler, of Harrisburg; brother, William and his wife Leslie of Dale City VA; sisters, Patricia and her husband James Shirato of Lebanon, PA, Jean and her husband James Davis of Sanford, ME.

Services: Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 6, 2010 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville with the Rev. Robert Bird officiating. Family and friends may call 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Thursday, and 9-10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Neffs Union Cemetery, Neffs.
